The GCARC Family Picnic is on Saturday, May 31, 2025.
It will be at Red Bank Battlefield Park in National Park, NJ. We have reserved the Hessian Avenue Pavilion from 1100 to 1400 Hours. We had picnics at this park in 2013, 2015, and 2017.
Club members, their spouses, and children are welcome.
The Club will supply the hamburgers, hot dogs, rolls, soda, and water. Each pavilion has a charcoal BBQ. We cannot bring or use a propane BBQ.
We are asking for donations of side dishes such as potato, macaroni, pasta, and/or green salad, desserts, chips, pretzels, or whatever you would bring to a picnic!
Please provide your own cooler to properly keep the food cold during transport and picnic setup.
No open flames are permitted in the park, so no gas stoves or Sterno. There is limited electricity for crock pots or hot plates. So, cold sides are best.
Please also provide serving bowls and utensils.
